Mobile Wireless Carrier Consulting

  • Evaluated handset pricing options.  Secondary research uncovered expected rebate redemption rates.  Developed financial model to evaluate rebates vs. everyday low pricing on corporate valuation.

 

  • Added $4 million to bottom-line through roaming revenue addition/expense reduction.  Optimized processes to mitigate revenue leakage.  Developed forecasting model leading to rate re-negotiations.

 

  • Enabled European company to quadruple customer base in two years.  Forecasted handset demand and monthly orders needed.  Led implementation of SAP ERP software system.  Enhanced billing system through customer migration to new module.

 

  • Re-engineered business processes leading to a 60% quarterly growth in subscribers for a U.K. company. Pricing, billing, commissions, customer service, logistics, accounts receivable, and other processes were re-engineered.

 

  • Enabled a company to be first to market by developing their logistics/distribution program. This included:

Fixed Wireless Carrier Consulting

  • Assisted carrier in obtaining licenses through auction in Canada. Estimated value of geographical markets. Participated in bid process. After licenses secured, performed detailed implementation planning.

 

  • Prioritized markets based on demographics and competitive analysis in rural America. Pared markets for deployment in half and developed top-20 list.

 

  • Recommended information sources for market share evaluation of DBS sales for leading entertainment company.  Consulted secondary resources and information companies to develop list.

  • Evaluated potential new product strategies for a leading computer manufacturer.
